Icy chills
travelling from the tip
to the base of your spine.
 
No ghoul or ghost
just the wind
playing freezing tricks.
 
Brown leaves
form a leathery carpet
along the ice white glistening floor.

What's the point?
There is no use.
The trust in democracy
is being abused.

Many of our loved ones
are being sent to fight.
We worry about them
every day and night.

DIVERSITY OVERLOAD

Our world is fractioned
torn into segments of difference.
Individuals now focused
on finding fault within themselves,
rather than cherishing who they are.
 
Fragmented by frightened thoughts
with paranoid delusions of misunderstandings
- that we need to find our purpose
instead of just learning to be who we are
and living life the way we want.
