Osman throws literally everything at this second installment of the Thursday Murder Club - including the kitchen sink and more.
This novel had me going through various emotions throughout; one minute laughing my head off, the next almost in tears.
I have really come to be fond of all of the characters at Coopers Chase, and I believe through this addition to the first novel, I have been able to know each of them even better.
Osman's writing style is brilliant. Full of British wit and humor, as well as keeping me on the edge of my seat, as to who done it - Richard kept me guessing right until the very end, bravo sir!
I gave this book five stars for pure enjoyment - from the front cover to the back this book had me enjoying it so much that I actually felt sad when I finished it.
The next chapter of the Thursday Murder Club is sitting quite impatiently on bookshelf, awaiting me to pick it up and devour it. If you haven't read any of these mysteries yet, you're missing out - they're a treat.
My review of the first book in the series is viewable here.
